Delicious! My favorite place when I am in Tyler. The margarita was the best I've had in a long time and the food was, as usual, exceptional. And the service was outstanding. I don't remember her name, she waited on us Sunday afternoon. Three of us plus 2 little kids in high chairs that made a huge mess. She is an awesome server. I'm a server myself and I was impressed. Give this lady a raise.
The wonderful food is something that one would not ordinarily expect from a restaurant with a "down home" atmosphere. My mother-in-law and I tried the Trout Diablo. The fish was cooked perfectly and covered with a light sauce that did not drown out the flavor of the fish. Rather, the sauce accented it. The rice was also cooked and spiced to perfection. My wife had the salmon topped with a light cream sauce spiced with cilantro. She loved it!
The food was served in a more than ample portion. The warm peach cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream was pure heaven. Everyone else had banana pudding for dessert, and they raved about it. Lastly, the service was friendly and efficient. My wife and I definitely plan on visiting this restaurant again to sample some of the other entrees.to our lia iopp
My husband and I had the pick your combo plate. I had Fish and crawfish, my husband fish and shrimp. It came with fries, coleslaw, and beans. It was more than enough. The food was great and waitress was wonderful. We will be back again
